The 5 Wealth Secrets That Made Bill Gates Very Rich and Successful

Bill Gates is easily one of the richest homo sapient walking on planet earth. How did he make it? This short article gives you the 5 Wealth Secrets that made Bill very rich and successful; and which you can adopt, adapt or modify to become rich and successful too. Please read on!

1. He started early.

Born in 1955, Bill's first contact with the computer was in 1968, at the tender age of 13. At a very young age, he became interested in computer software and programming, and used his school's computer to practice because computers were still very expensive to own. His interest and enthusiasm for programming was uncommon. It was passionate.

2. He was Passionate and Committed.

Bill was very passionate about computer software and programming. Thus, as a student at Lakeside Prep School, he spent his days and nights designing and writing computer programs. Accordingly, this took a heavy toll on his academic performance, as classes were skipped and homework left undone.

At the Computer Centre Corporation, Bill and his friends crashed the system several times and even sabotaged the security system, all in their passionate quest to acquire new computer skills. But when they hacked into and altered the algorithm that recorded computer usage time, they were promptly banned for several weeks!

3. He quickly became his own Boss.

Bill Gates started his university education at Harvard in 1973, but had to drop out in 1975 to take care of Business: with his friend Paul Allen, he setup Microsoft Corporation in 1975.

Obviously, he dropped out of Harvard, not for lack of capacity or capability for higher education, but because his heart was not in his studies. Bill was so committed to his DREAM that he refused to be distracted even by the allure of formal education at the prestigious Harvard University!

4. He added great VALUE and was greatly rewarded.

While still at school, Bill and three of his colleagues setup a team called the Lakeside Programmers, on which platform they struck a deal with Computer Centre Corporation. The team reviewed computer programs to identified bugs and other problems. For this they were allowed unlimited computer usage time at the Centre. Hear him: "It was when we got free time at the Computer Centre that we really got into computers..."

Next, the Lakeside Programmers were hired by Information Science Incorporated to create a payroll program. For this they again got free computer time as well as royalties from sales of the software.

And for Traf-O-Data, Bill and his friend Allen created a software that helps measure traffic flow. This earned them about $20,000.

Under Microsoft Corporation, Bill gave the world the computer operating system software called WINDOWS. Put conservatively, WINDOWS runs in over sixty percent of all computers on planet earth! Bill gave the world great products and services, and was greatly rewarded.

5. He generously gave back to Humanity.

Through his published books, Bill continues to increase Knowledge and bless the World by sharing his Wisdom and Ideas; through his Products and Services, he continues to add Value to our lives; and through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, he continues to give his Money away to bless and uplift Humanity. What a great way to serve God and Man; and what else is the Purpose of Life, after all?

Bill Gates will be remembered, not for what he took out of the world for himself, but for what he gave to the world of himself. And for being such a beautiful inspiration to our Youths, we say: Thank you Bill!

Deep and Meaningful Quotes - How 3 Motivational Quotes Can Greatly Improve Your Life

Deep and meaningful quotes are very important in relation with our lives. These may just be mere words, yet they are created to inspire us to live our lives with significance and worth. Deep and meaningful quotes motivate us to outshine the trials and challenges that may hinder us from attaining success.

Here are some of the most important ones to ponder on...

Deep and Meaningful Quotes # 1: "It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's equally good to check once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy." -- George Claude Lorimer

Larimer cited the importance of happiness for individuals who seem to have lost hope or are deeply engrossed with material possession or worldly success. Too many of us become too busy with our business or job, that we tend to ignore or take for granted the things that truly matter in life. Viewing the quote is a good way of being thankful for the persons and things that really make us live great lives.

Deep and Meaningful Quotes # 2: "You are as happy as you make up your mind to be." - Abraham Lincoln

The quote talks about real joy and radiating that feeling to the world. You have the choice to make your life better and happier right this very moment.

Some individuals tell themselves that they'll be happy when they get this or that. However, once they achieve their first dream, they're never fully contented and then move on to say that they'll be happy when they achieve the next best thing.

The bar always goes higher if you do not accept that you can be happy no matter what your current situation is.

Deep and Meaningful Quotes # 3: "The question is not whether we will die, but how we will live." -- Joan Borysenko

Borysenko stresses the importance of living life to the fullest. Not one of us knows when our time will come.

It implies how family, friendship, love, generosity and freedom matters. The goal is to leave a legacy even to just a few people, so you can truly say that your life was a blessing to others.

The above-mentioned deep and meaningful quotes are definitely worth reading and applying to your life. To some, reading those quotes may appeal as corny for they haven't really understood the true meaning of what these words convey. It may take some time for people to get accustomed to the lessons provided.

The quotes can also serve as principles and guidelines when making major decisions. A lot of people would be very quick to choose one thing if they feel that it is the easiest and most convenient. Sometimes, quotes help us understand the value of delayed gratification, patience, honesty and other useful values. You should understand the proper application of these - depending on the situation - and make the critical move wisely.

So seek to share these inspirational, deep and meaningful quotes to live by. You'll never know when you have given them hope, reason, and direction to live.

Motivation 101 - The Last Article You Will Ever Need About Motivation

Everyone who is unsuccessful looks for motivation outside of themselves. They believe motivation has to come from someone else or some other thing. This article will dispel all the wrong belief about motivation and why you must develop the only true type of motivation: Self-Motivation!

Have you ever said, "I'm just not motivated..." Guess what you are not alone. I've been there. Being not motivated is the issue that everyone has. I believe there are only two groups of people when it comes to motivation: Those who are and those who are not!

I see this every single year at my gym. During January and part of February the gym is so busy I can hardly take. Every class I sign up for is booked solid. Every free weight bench is taken. Honestly, I can hardly function in this situation, but some how I get by! :

The reality is that soon enough all of these people will fall off. They will quit showing up because deep down they are not truly motivated in make a difference in their fitness lives! The same is true for anything in our lives.

Something that I am not motivated to do is clean my house. I could care less if my house is clean or dirty. I would say that I have no motivation in this area of my life.

I believe it is acceptable because I can pay someone else to do it. While taking control of your finances, health, happiness, and relationships are not areas that can be outsourced.

The best example I know of in self motivation is in my business. I work with different people every day. I am a poor judge at how self motivated someone is to reaching their dreams. It is usually the last person I think that is truly hungry for results. All of a sudden I see this person selling a ton of products out of no where. So I am always impressed.

Here is the point: True motivation comes from within. In my experience of working with thousand of people over the years in sales is self motivation is the only motivation that matters. Self motivated people don't need to be reminded of what they have to do in their lives. They don't have to be asked what are they doing today to improve their lives. They simply do.

Ask yourself, Are you self motivated? This is the only difference I have found between successful people and unsuccessful people. Self motivated people stick to their goals and figure out the solution to getting the results they want no matter what it takes!

Don't Doggy Paddle Through Life

We spend more time and money doggy paddling through life than actually learning how to swim different strokes that take us from where we are to where we want to be.

There is the butterfly stroke (the most challenging), the breast stroke, the side stroke, the back stroke, the front crawl and free style swimming.

We limit ourselves to bathtubs, pools and ponds when there are oceans out there waiting for us.

It doesn't matter how young or old you are, you can learn how to swim. Once you discover different strokes, rarely do you go back to doggy paddling; it doesn't feel natural and it limits your breath, speed and distance.

So why do we doggy paddle in our personal, professional and spiritual lives?

It becomes comfortable, or we haven't learned a different way, or we have forgotten that there are other strokes that enhance our overall quality and well being in life.

Fearful thoughts and old mindsets (beliefs and patterns) keep us from exploring different strokes and oceans. They keep us paddling around the problem rather than swimming through it and onto other horizons.

When you connect to essence, consciousness, Infinite Intelligence, The Source, The Universe, God, you gain wonderful and creative insights (strokes). These insights are always available in all situations if you become still and trust the wisdom.

Being still and listening to these strokes of genius or brilliance can be difficult, like the butterfly stroke, let alone the trusting them.

Once you become comfortable with these strokes you won't be doggy paddling anymore.

You will be swimming in the great oceans of consciousness and loving the freedom of choice.

How do we connect to this fountain of knowledge and gain those strokes of insight?

It's simple really; all you have to do is become still and open to receiving. Whatever situation(s) or person(s) you feel is creating the perceived challenge or stress, you will become still and open to receiving an insight (stroke) as to how to handle the problem.

Once you begin to trust receiving, you are well on your way to believing and achieving different strokes of possibilities.

In no time at all, you will be out of the ponds and into the oceans.

Does that mean you won't ever doggy paddle again or be in a pond? No, but it does mean you are quicker to recognize this and will remember to dive in and swim freely with some new strokes.

So what do you say? Are you willing to learn some new strokes or are you going to continue to paddle through life?

Remember , when you Shine, the world shines brighter because of you!

Having the Right Attitude

As a musician and producer second guessing myself too much can be a very bad habit. There is a tendency to wonder If anything you do is very good, or if anyone would like it. This is the wrong attitude to have doing anything in life, but is particularly destructive for anyone creative.

We tend to think of our projects as children. We want people to like them, we want people to like us for creating them. The problem is you are setting yourself up for heartbreak and pain. Of course some of that is unavoidable. After all, you can crawl backwards for people and some will still ask why you didn't do it over glass. As in, some people are never satisfied and some people are just jerks. There is nothing you can do about that. Realizing and accepting that fact is hard, but necessary.

The key to the whole thing is not trying to please everyone. Please yourself first. If it sounds (looks, feels, works, etc) good to (for) you, then other people will like it. After you have the right attitude, it's a matter of finding those people. We all like to think we are islands in the ocean, the simple truth is there are millions of people just like you. Find them, and you have your audience.

As a musician I want people to listen to my music. As a business man I want them to like it enough to buy it. There is a direct conflict here. Particularly to someone anti-corporation like myself. On one hand I would like to just give away my music for everyone to listen to. On the other hand I work hard to create my music and want to be able to make a living from it. The solution for me was simple. I have music I sell, and I also make and give away songs and albums.

So you need to remember you really can do anything you want if you're willing to put the work in, and take the lumps with the praise. All problems have solutions, there is no problem so gigantic it can't be overcome with planning and perseverance. The reason people fail is because they give up.

I approach life with a never say die attitude, I hope I have helped you find a little of that for yourself.

My name is Ryan and My love in life is music. Listening to it, making it and exploring it.

Music really is my drive in life.

I created acidhedz.com to help people learn to make their own music, and to showcase my own. I would like to share my love of music and the joy that comes with creating your own, with everyone. http://AcidHedz.com

Creating a Massive Action Plan

I'm sure you've all heard of Tony Robbins. And if you've ever heard him speak or if you ever read anything he's written, then you know that he always talks about taking massive action. You can't deny the knowledge of a man who's acted as a personal success coach for Olympic Champions, Hall of Fame athletes and even a U.S. President. The man flat out knows how to produce success and achieve results.

So beyond all the current excitement behind visualizations and affirmations that has gone along with the movie, The Secret, you cannot deny the power behind taking massive action to make your dreams come true. No true success story has just sat around and meditated their way to the top. And no true success story has stood in front of a mirror day after and recited affirmations and then simply sat back down and waited for something to happen.

You have to get up and go and make it happen. So you have to create a plan for your success and you absolutely have to include massive action. Jack Canfield is one of the teachers featured in the secret. Do you think he sat around and visualized and repeated affirmations until he had the best-seller, Chicken Soup for The Soul. Nope. Him and his partner committed to doing interviews every day to get the book to the best-seller list and keep it there. Massive action yet again. And I think you will agree that with over 100 million copies of the entire series sold, that has worked out pretty well for him.

Creating a massive action plan is not as hard as it may sound. To get his success and his action plan, Mr. Canfield talked with authors who already had best sellers and found out what they did. Then he went out and did it himself. If there is something you would like to achieve in your life, you have to find out what massive action you can take and then go out and take it. It's that simple.

Simply enter the word that's in your thoughts into your favorite search engine, and I bet you'll find just the right quote or saying that matches perfectly what you are thinking.

Awesome Quotes...'Out of the Mouths of Babes...'

Our own children in their infinite innocence have delivered some of the greatest thought-provoking utterances I've ever heard, and you can be certain they have given us grown-ups pause for thought.

For instance, this is from Floyd, age 9 on love and marriage: "Love is foolish...but I still might try it sometime"; or this one from Angie, age 10: "Most men are brainless, so you might have to try more than once to find a live one."

You can take inspiration from Tom, age 5, who believes in education first:: Once I'm done with kindergarten, I'm going to find me a wife."

Here's one from Kevin, age 41/2 on tolerance. A group of kids were laughing and making fun of two little girls (both age 4, mind you) who were exchanging 'little girl' sloppy kisses, and Kevin says (drum roll, please): "aww, leave 'em alone, maybe they're gay".

See what I mean? So, when you get through scratching your head and saying "where did THAT come from?", you'd be wise to stay in-tune with your fascinating kids, for they're bound to inspire some awesome quotes that derive from that natural-born wisdom they seem to have a monopoly on.

You can also find fabulous quotations from books or magazines, and don't forget your local library - just relax and read, and you haven't spent a dime.

If you're looking for a few awesome quotes on self-improvement, you can always borrow from the following:

The best contribution one can make to humanity is to improve oneself.

~Author Unknown

The biggest room in the world is the room for improvement.

~Author Unknown

...If we want to improve we need to learn from our mistakes, from our experience, from other people, from our failures and successes and not to forget from our leaders. Our success is the result of our ability to learn and grow in all situations.

~Socrates

Need to express your gratitude with a thank you note? Here, then are awesome quotes to add to your thank card wording:

How beautiful a day can be

When kindness touches it!

~George Elliston

Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don't unravel.

~Author Unknown

How far that little candle throws his beams!

So shines a good deed in a weary world.

~William Shakespeare

The world can become discouraging at times, and you might need inspiration and words of encouragement to spur your mind towards greater achievement. When this happens, you can be renewed with the simple reading of an awesome quote from someone you consider all wise and all knowing. Ralph Waldo Emerson comes to mind:

"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail".

So many Awesome Quotes to find - they're all around us, everywhere!
